Field Test Results for Continuous Beta Gauge Under High Dew Point Conditions

A continuous, "in-situ" ambient particulate monitor based upon the beta attenuation approach has been developed and successfully field-tested. Field-test results include not only the traditional class-3 PM2.5 comparison field tests required for US-EPA designation, but also extended field tests under hot, humid tropical and subtropical conditions, such as would be found in large areas of the tropical world (China, India, Southeast Asia) as well as in the Southeast United States.
