By taking a proactive role in pipeline management, which includes sewers and culverts, the investment in infrastructure can be better persevered and will lead to a safer more cost effective operation. Both sliplining rehabilitation of existing lines, and microtunneling (direct jacking) of new pipelines are cost effective, performance proven, semi-trenchless methods of installing new factory-made pipeline below railroads and within railroad rights-of-way.
