Study of Edge Mura Using the VALC Process

摘要

VALC(Vacuum Alignment with Liquid Crystal) is concrescence process after LC and sealant set on TFT & CF glass. It has advantage of simplification of cell process compared with LC injection. On the other hand, it has quality dimerit like edge mura. Edge mura caused by damage of PI surface by rubbing process it can be improved by applying the new PI which has strong surface tolerance.
