The Analysis on the Relationship Between Economic Growth and Energy Consumption in Shaanxi Based on Grey Theory

Shaanxi's economic has been experiencing rapid growth since 2000, thanks to the Western China Development Strategy. The economic planning of GuanZhong-TianShui economic zone approved by China's State Council in 2009 is another great chance for the economic development of Shaanxi. Analysis of the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth in Shaanxi with Grey theory shows that there is a strong correlation between them, and the coal consumption plays a leading role in the economic growth.
