An Overview of Researches on Resource Management in Grid

摘要

Resource management refers to the operations used to control how capabilities provided by Grid resources and services are made available to other entities, whether users, applications, or services. In Grid, resource management provides users reliable and efficient services by integrating and managing various distributed, autonomous and heterogeneous resources. This paper surveys recent related researches on resource management, summarizes the partition of resource management motivation, and discusses resource management models.
