We investigated the quantum entanglement properties of a pair of coherent squeezed states passed through a single beam splitter. From valuated the degree of entanglement in terms of entanglement of formation, the result showed that a 50 : 50 symmetric beam splitter (r = t = 1√2 , r=π/2 ) was a well element to generate maximally entangled output state for the same two coherent squeezed states inputting. Furthermore, the entanglement is increasing with the initial squeezed parameter ξ , while is not related to the coherent parameter α.
