An Analysis of Arm on Ladle Turret in Static Strength and Improvement in Structure

Objective: To get the accurate information leading to crack on the weld of the arm on the ladle turret. Methods: Use ANSYS (Analysis System) finite element analysis software to perform the finite element modeling of the arm and analyze the distribution of static strength for the arm. Then take a test on actual load for the strain by telemetry system on the side of the arm. Conclusion: Verify the accuracy of the finite element method by on-site response test Accordingly, improve the arm in structure by effective basis.
