This paper analyzes the ecological sensitivity in Jiaozuo City through selecting regionally representative factors using the factor-overlap method of GIS technology. And the model of ecoenvironmental sensitivity in Jiaozuo is established. The data used are current data of ecological environment and former research results. Four classes of ecological sensitivity ranging from extreme to low are generated: extreme sensitivity region, junior sensitivity region, weaker sensitivity region, nonsensitivity region. Advices and countermeasures for different regions are put forward in order to provide valuable references for the regional spatial planning and regional eco-environment protection and governance. The results show that about 30.7% of the surveyed area belongs to upper moderately-sensitive ecological region, which implies that the sensitivity is moderate.
