摘要

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are gradually adopted in the industrial world due to their advantages over traditional wired networks, such as being both cheaper and faster to deploy.Extended Industrial Framework (EIF) is developed based on OMNeT++ for modeling lossy links in industrial field and extending reliable MAC protocol components to meet the requirements of industrial application.It also offers a model library to make statistics of energy consumption and reliability of data transmission.EIF is designed so there is a clear separation between model and operations, providing an easy interface for the researchers to validate technology according to speciality of industrial WSNs.It supports the implementation of future wireless link model according with diverse industrial utility and provides effective protocol to guarantee the high success rate of data transmission.
