Physical health status of faculty in Jiangsu University

Aim: This study aims to examine the physical health status of faculty in Jiangsu University. Methods: A sample of 1,400 faculties were randomly selected from the physical examination system in Jiangsu University, and 1,177 persons who participated in the physical examination actively in them were statistically analyzed. Results: There are 848 people who have abnormal physical examination indicator, the overall abnormal physical examination rate is 72.05%; the top three abnormal rates of physical indicators are Type-B ultrasonic (32.46%), Lipid (26.34%), Electrocardiogram (25.40%).Conclusion: It is necessary to carry out various health management activities actively such as physical examination, health education and health guidance, prevent and control diseases, improve the quality of health status of faculty in Jiangsu University.
