The article attempts to explore the characteristics of the organizational managers' gender roles, and examine the probable impacts from gender, educational background and working positions on gender roles, as well as the influence from gender roles to leadership effectiveness. 186 sets questionnaires are collected through investing the managers and their subordinates. The findings indicate that androgynous tendency is obvious among the organizational managers in China. The significant influence of managers' gender, educational level and working position on gender roles are affirmed, and the results also supports the view of the androgynous managers are more effective.
