Research on the location choice of Chinese oversea direct investment

摘要

This paper first reviews the studies of China's foreign direct investment, and then discusses factors that may influence China's outward FDI location and establishes a model based on the gravity model. Based on the dates collected from China's 17 major investing object countries over the recent six years, this paper finds that Chinese companies tend to invest in countries with higher trade volume with China.
