This paper describes the CC2430 ZigBee chip used In the design of photovoltaic power generation system, specifically is to TI's CC2430 ZigBee chip implanted into the photovoltaic power generation system, take advantage of CC2430 features in the single-chip computer to achieve the photovoltaic solar panel system, voltage, current, temperature, light intensity and the voltage inverter, current, and battery charge and discharge current, voltage detection and measurement, while light volt power system control. CC2430 wireless communication capabilities take full advantage of PV systems to achieve automatic network and remote monitoring, wireless sensor network technology for photovoltaic power generation system, which is very meaningful research, especially the use of photovoltaic power generation system independent power supply and power system with cluster properties, such as: solar landscape lights, solar lights, solar outdoor weather station, solar environment monitoring station and so on. This fully demonstrated the wireless sensor network technology, the unique value and application prospect.
