Comparative study on Strategies for a Low-carbon Society in Kitakyushu and Dalian

摘要

(1) Kitakyushu is in the middle stage of Eco-model City development, while Dalian is in the earlier stage. (2) In aspect of policy making and urban development, Kitakyushu makes a good example to Dalian and other Asia cities. (3) Aiming at the Eco-model City for a Low-carbon society in China and Asia, Dalian still has a long way to go, especially on citizen involvement and developing new technology.
