摘要

Nowadays, distance learning experience tends to be a blend of various technologies. Also, one cannot apart e-learning from distance learning, as it is the flexible, dynamic and two way communicative way to provide self study material in distance education. The researcher has developed a multimedia package for teaching of common concepts in programming languages in distance learning mode. The package is irrespective of language and demonstrates iterative structures, decision blocks, selection structures etc. Hence it is applicable for all programming language learners. The package was provided to the BCA (undergraduate course, Bachelor of Computer Applications) students, of “Tilak Maharashtra University” of Distance Learning. This course is after twelve and opens for all streams like arts, commerce and science. The paper represents effectiveness of the package in various aspects of distance learning.
