Comparative Analysis on Operating Efficiency of China's listed Companies in Real Estate Industry

In recent years real estate industry in China develops rapidly. Since last year, real estate industry has gone into a period of adjustment This situation demands real estate companies more strictly. Extensive operation method is unable to adapt to the market competition for the real estate company. There is the need for real estate companies to improve operational efficiency. In this article Super-efficienxy DEA is used to evaluate the status of operational efficiency for the real estate listed companies. The efficiency analysis are taken to the listed companies. Empirical results show that the level of the China's real estate company's efficiency locates at a rather low level. Only one third of the real estate enpterprises' is efficient There are not significant difference between the efficiency of real estate enterprises in Shenzhen and Shanghai stock market High efficiency will bring high-growth for enterprise's performance. The low efficient enterprise will be replaced by high efficient compeitiors in future.
