摘要

The paper introduces the developments and construction technologies ofantiwashout underwater concrete (AUC) materials. Two engineering projects in energyinfrastructure construction along China coast,such as "building road and artificial island intothe sea" in Shengli Oilfield and "subsea pipeline stabilization" in Qinshan Nuclear PowerPlant were discussed. Combined with engineering requirements on concrete compressivestrength,construction process and scale,environment condition and field operationcircumstances,some adjustment methods of materials components of AUC are emphaticallydiscussed. It is showed that the traditional water-insulation underwater construction techniqueshould be combined with the usage of AUC in order to obtain optimal concrete quality anddurability. In the meantime,considering both the performance of AUC and placement methodin site,concrete flowability and anti-washout property should be considered and balancedcomprehensively.
