Factors Influencing Adoption of Innovations: An Integrative Review

摘要

Since the 1960s,innovation on the diffusion and adoption of technological or administrative has been extensively discussed in the innovation-diffusion literature.Scholars have identified multiple variables that influence an organization's adoption of innovations.However,studies have often stemmed from mixed results,because the relationship between these independent variables and the adoption behavior is heavily dependent on the type of innovation.Moreover,why these variables affect an organization's adoption has rarely been discussed.This paper reviews the present literature and proposes a structural equation model to uncover the underlying reason why these factors affect the adoption of innovations.
