摘要

This paper presents a model of a novel anode flow-field structure with microblocks for micro direct methanol fuel cells (μDMFCs).A Butler-Volmerequation based 3D mass transport and electrochemical model using CFD method is introduced to simulate the μDMFCs performance.Simulation results show that the μDMFCs with microblocks,which stir the fuel and improve the uniformity of the fuel along the channel depth direction,have much better performance than the conventional one without microblocks.The simulation results match with the testresults of the μDMFC fabricated previous.
