According to the theory of jet flow of confinement space, the flow field of air curtain with parallel fans has been analyzed; And characteristic equation of the air curtain has been proposed based on momentum theorem and the theory of mine ventilation, which is applicable to the high pressure difference and the large cross section haulage drift. Considering energy conservation, the optimum value of the blowing angle of the jet of air curtain has been confirmed, which is 45°; And the optimum value of the area ratio between the tunnel cross section and the cross section of outlets of air curtain has been confirmed. It provides the theory basis for the design of air curtain with parallel fans.
