Influence Effect of Stochastic Lead-time on WROP of Water Supply Chain

In South-to-North Water Transfer Project supply chain, the confirmation of water reorder point (WROP) of the node lake has great impact on the running of the Project. The confirmation of WROP is influenced by many factors. This study treated the problem of the influence of the fluctuation of the water order lead-time on WROP of the lake. It chose the simple water supply chain consisting of the pumping mouth at the Changjiang River and a single node lake as research object. Assuming stochastic order lead-time of water obeyed equal discrete distribution, it discussed influence of the fluctuation of the leadtime on WROP when guarantee ratio of water supply of the node lake changed around 0.5. The result shows that when guarantee ratio of water supply is 0.5, the fluctuation of the lead-time doesn’t influence the confirmation WROP; but when the ratio isn’t 0.5, the influence exists. Finally, the conclusions were validated by simulation testing.
