This article,based on the analysis of the principles of determining the weight of indexes,compares the merits and defects of several methods that are used to determine the weight of indexes.The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) provides not only a viable path for determining the weight of indexes,but also a dependable assurance for the validity and reliability of the results of evaluation on civil servants' performance.
