Study on Various Modes of Electronic Public Service and the Choice of Such Modes

Since the employment of online project for government in 1997,electronic government in China had achieved a rapid development,and the electronic public service of government had also made a great progress. At present,there are more than ten thousand gateway websites in different levels of government in China,which has basically made all governmental departments available to internet. However,there still exist a series of problems,such as that the channel for public to attain information is not smooth,the capability of online service is limited,and the degree of participation by public is not high. These phenomena are attracting more and more attention from relative departments and experts. On the basis of analyzing the current situation of electronic public service in China,the author firstly explores the existing problems and causes of electronic public service mode in our country; then combined with the situation of our country,discusses the necessity for various modes of electronic public service in China; thirdly describes in details various concrete modes of electronic service and analyzes their respective features and finally probes into the choice of these patterns according to the degree of informatization in different regions.
