Multimodal, multi-channel information services are in the focus of development in Finland. Common for these services are, that they require new organization models. Two traffic management and information service projects are piloted have been piloted in Finland and both projects have been evaluated in 2007. These evaluations offer new practical understanding for the organization of such services in the future. The most important issues are, what is the demand for such services and what are their effects, what is the cost-effective and sufficient quality of information and what is the best way to organise these services within a PPP model.
