摘要

Poly(allylamine hydrochloride), PAH, is one of the most widely used substances for fabricating the polyelectrolyte multilayer film with controllable structure, since its properties in aqueous solution are sensitive to the change of the environmental condition such as ionic strength and pH value etc. Herein, we utilize single molecule force spectroscopy (SMFS) to study properties of PAH in different buffer solutions - water, 1 mol/L urea, and pH =11 NaOH solutions.
