How optimal Safety Operations Performance Assures Gas Supply to the Vietnam Market

BP Vietnam is an integrated business unit producing, transporting and processing natural gas for power generation within BP Vietnam.BP Vietnam supplies circa 50% of gas to meet the peak demand for the whole of Vietnam's power generation. This demands producing & processing assets which are highly reliable and available to meet customer requirements withoutcompromising their integrity and safe operation. Over the last 2 years the growth in power demand within Vietnam has necessitated a plant capacity stretch of 30% above original design to customer requirements.This presentation describes the safety & integrity mgt processes that BP Vietnam employ to achieve the requisite levels of asset performance in what is currently a challenging dynamic environment. It also strives to demonstrate that asset integrity management and business drivers and goals and not mutually exclusive and that compliance with the BP Group Integrity Management Standard is good for our business in Vietnam.
