For the complexity of Hybrid Fuel Cell Vehicle, efficient and safe powertrain control is very important to fulfill the performance requirements. In the development of Powertrain Control Unit(PCU), three different control strategies on energy management are approached and faults management issues are considered. As a useful tool to the system control development, Hardware-in-the-Loop(HIL) simulation platform was set up with the modeling of powertrain components. Bench test results show the accuracy of HIL simulation model and the satisfactory performance of PCU.
