Polymer Science with Main Group Elements and Transition Metals

摘要

The efficient formation of soluble, processable polymers with main chains containing inorganic elements provides a synthetic challenge but represents potentially important approach to new macromolecular and supramolecular materials with interesting properties. This talk will survey some of the recent research performed in our group concerning the development of controlled routes to a variety of different inorganic polymer systems and the use of the resulting materials in self-assembly processes.
