Mixed-metal, Low loss Green Tape~(TM) Systems for Military, Automotive and Wireless Applications

The transition from an all-Au to a mixed-metal LTCC system where the top layer is Au and the inner layers comprise various Ag-bearing conductors presents some questions and raises some issues that one needs to understand at the outset of the design process. These are examined critically using illustrative examples and solutions obtained from previous 951 and 943 Green Tape~(TM) System studies.
