Designing Industrial Processes for On-Aim Product Quality Control

摘要

This paper summarizes an industrial view on incorporating controllability and developing plantwide control strategies at the stage where a new process is being designed. The use of computer-aided process engineering tools is discussed within this context and three industrial examples are given to highlight key concepts and point out areas of potential future academic research.
