WWW MINING AND INTELLIGENT INTERNET DECISION AID

摘要

With the rapid development of World Wide Web (WWW) and data mining techniques, there is a great increasing interest in developing Internet Data Mining systems and WWW based decision support. This article considers the feasibility of Internet data mining and the construction of WWW Based Decision Support Systems. It analyzes the issues including: "why would we consider an Internet based data mining and WWW based decision support systems?", "What are the main components of such systems?", "What makes such systems different from the other systems?" and " how could we construct them?". Types of World Wide Web based data mining, decision support systems, resource sharing, security strategies and co-operation among Internet data mining systems are also discussed. Finally, we conclude that Internet data mining and WWW based intelligent aid are both feasible and important in the area of advanced information technology.
