Method of Supporting Personalized Purchasing Decision Using Dialogue Mining Engine and Drawing out Marketing Information in Internet Shopping Agent

PURPOSE: A method for supporting purchase decision and fetching marketing information by using the dialog mining process in the Internet shopping agent is provided to help a purchaser decide to purchase an item by recommending a proper item and to output high value-added marketing information by collecting, processing and analyzing the data generated in the procedure of a service. CONSTITUTION: An article DB is built by collecting the information about the articles of respective categories(S101). Question items related to purchases are established through a prior research and analysis(S102). When an Internet user is connected to a web server for recommendation, the preference, purchase propensity and other information are obtained through interactive communication by using selective questions and a natural language-based dialog box(S104). An article suitable for the information is fetched from the article DB and recommended to the user. The data generated from the procedure of communication are collected, processed and analyzed. The data are provided to a company.
