Studies on the properties of electroless deposited Ni-Sn-P coating

The morphology and properties of Ni-Sn-P electroless deposited coating are examined using SEM, XRD and DTA. The coating show similar amorphous structure as that of Ni-P coating. After heated at 345 deg C, the amorphous coating turned to be crystalline structure. And after heated at 369 deg C, the constitution of the coating is changed. XRD shows the formation of Ni_3P.
