A combined system for soldering and inspection of SMT components using laser diode and ir sensor

A soldering system for SMT components, based on laser iode as the energy source has been constructed and tested at Beam Works Ltd., israel. The system has full inspection capabilities for common faults such as bent legs, rotated components etc. A conveyor is used to transport the PCB from the pick & place stand exit into the working zone, and from the working zone to the system exit after completion of the soldering and/or inspection processes.
