Sensitive electrochemical detection of antigens using gold electrodes functionalized with antibody moieties

摘要

Tis paper deals with direct electrochemical detection of antigens using a new method of functionalization of gold electrodes. The antibody was treated in order to form SH groups allowing dirdct fixation onto gold substrates with ocverage factor close to #theta# chemical bounds 0.9. An interesting sensitivity for antigen of bout few pg/ml can be reached.
