Application of semi-markov models to real systems

摘要

The authors of this paper want to show the interest of the semi-Markov modelling when applied to practical systems with fixed switching delays or different manual repairs but also when used for preventive maintenance. The resolution methods for obtaining the basic depdendability indicators as weoll as the computation of the failure rate of the system are given.
