To explore the effect of carburization process upon critical points and microstructure the macro-and micro-composition distributin in carburized Cr12MoV steel has een determined.Meanwhile the critical points of carburized and uncarburized steel were measured and compared,and their relationship to composition and microstructure were discussed.
