Coat forming by induction hardening and its effect

For inducation hardening as a method to harden steel surface,it is very common to use water or water soluble quenchant as a cooling medium. In stead of htose conventional water soluble quenchant,using water soluble quenchants containing such materials as ultra fine carbon particle,graphite or thermally hardenable resins,surface of the quenched materials cna be covered with black coat which is strongly protective form corrosion,simultaneously during the hardening process.
