Abstract: The second harmonic generation due to the intersubband transitions in the doubly resonant nonparobolic quantum well systems is discussed theoretically, employing the self- consistent field method. It was shown that the correct description of the modification of the second-harmonic generation spectrum resulting from the nonparabolicity of the subbands have to take into account the depolarization effect. !4
