摘要

The present work concerns in-process control of laser remelting.In order to control this process, and more precisely the depth of the transformation, we used a video camera which allows to measure the surface of the melt pool. This parameter is then used as an input for the process control. From a thermal model, an analytical expression relating this parameter, the depth of pool and the scanning velocity has been previously determined. Moreover, these pools show strong important convection disturbances due to Marangoni effects. Finally, a controller has been successfully developped and is able to control very severe situations.
