Describes the generalized results of the peculiarities of 8 mm wave radar backscattering from different kinds of Earth surfaces, both natural and artificial. About 12 years data are considered. Forests, ploughed fields, grassland and agricultural crops are considered. Both small and large incidence angle changes are found to have a significant effect.
