As an important influence factors of unban climate, unban water bodies include river and landscape lakes take effect on the heat exchange between water-air surfaces. This paper describes a three-dimensional CFD model including unban water body and complex building communities around it which based on an actual International Business Park Planning Project. The model considers evaporation and heat exchange between water-air surfaces and the influence of solar radiation. The simulation is carried out to predict wind and thermal environments in urban areas around unban water body. The results show that the distribution form of water body and buildings around it are the important influence factors of local thermal climate. The air temperature is relatively lower and the wind flow is smooth above the water body. In addition, the wider water body channel is, the larger the scope of water vapour diffusion. The main affected distance is 250m from the water body in this case.
