摘要

This paper proposes an inverse system algorithm based fault-tolerant control method for electric power steering (EPS) system. Firstly, EPS system is modeled by bond graph (BG) technology. Then, a passive fault-tolerant control method based on inverse system algorithm is developed in the case of sensor faults in the EPS system, which applies a copy of the original system model as the controller, and compares the output of the original system with the command to generate the input of the controller. Finally, the simulation results are presented to illustrate that the designed fault-tolerant controller has the fault-tolerant capability, which can guarantee the EPS system to maintain stability when the sensor faults occur.
