IT Act Crime Pattern Analysis using Regression and Correlation Matrix

Recently, the crime pattern analysis has gained attention of data analysis for the researchers. The Information Act 2000 defined different offences under different Sections as per government regulations, which motivated to discover patterns of crime occurrence so that necessary actions can be taken to reduce the crime rate in near future. To achieve this goal, Cybercrime data has been extracted from National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB). The crime patterns are investigated based on offences-prone state and their corresponding relationship among them using regression and correlation.
