The developed circuit and system describes the design process of a haptic interface that is able to measure hand strength, perform rehabilitation exercises for the upper limbs and has Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities. A functional prototype was built using 3D printing along with an existing haptic controller that is used as an interface to collect data about performed rehabilitation exercises and send them to an IoT platform. The programming code was developed in Python and the IoT platform was used for visualization and control locally or remotely by the rehabilitation professional. In addition, tests were carried out to determine the error in the measurements and the data communication between each device. The final device fulfilled a ll g iven t asks a nd i s f ully functional.
