摘要

MRI (Medical Resonance Images) is used for brain tumor detection which also involves very difficulty in distinguishing normal and abnormal tissues of a brain for neurosurgeons. An automated Tumor detection technique is proposed which aids neurosurgeons in detecting brain tumors. A Gaussian Filtering with MLP (Multi-Layer Perceptron)-Based BPNN (Back Propagation Neural Network) is proposed which produces better accurate results in detecting the brain tumor with an accuracy rate of 93% when compared with other Classifiers like PNN (Probabilistic Neural Network) and SVM (Support Vector machine).
