The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District's (District) Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is a Primavera cashflow based 10-year schedule of projects consisting of both discretionary and non-discretionary projects developed by the Engineering and Construction (E&C) department. Over a course of 6-months each year, E&C must coordinate with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Finance, using tools such as SharePoint and P6, to prioritize discretionary projects based on available funding and staff resources. Once the CIP is finalized, E&C develops Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to report CIP progress to the Board of Trustees and documents lessons learned to enhance the annual process.
