Cu(In,Ga)(S,Se) (CIGS) photovoltaic (PV) mini modules sensitive to positive voltage stress were subjected to positive voltage stress in dark conditions, followed by light soaking. The maximum power output (Pmax) of the mini modules decreased under positive voltage stress in the dark, then recovered completely with light soaking. This result indicates that the test procedures for potential induced degradation (PID) of some types of CIGS PV modules may require stabilization by light soaking.
