For a two-element antenna array with random phase errors, the array factor and maximum beam direction are related to the phases. We can get the analytic solutions of the array factor and maximum beam direction and verify them with many Monte Carlo simulations. In this paper, polynomial chaotic extension (PCE) is used to construct the experimental design and obtain an alternative model for the antenna array factor and maximum beam direction with random phase errors, while reducing the number of operations. The results obtained by PCE were compared with analytical solutions and Monte Carlo simulation results to verify the method.
