Stimulating tumor cell clusters by an environmental stimuli-responsive self-folding

In this study, temperature-sensitive multi-layered EEMs with various curvature radii having different expansion ratio of two layers were made by different compositions of PEGDA3400 and NIPAM. Using this, we could make the optimal EEM to hold the tumor cell cluster and stimulate the tumor cell cluster with EEM. When tumor cell clusters were stimulated on CAM, new blood vessels were oriented toward the tumor cell cluster and the effect of mechanical force on tumor cell cluster was confirmed.
